Rather than spending a teacher workday, holiday, or early release at home, middle and high school aged kids could instead spend it outside, having fun in a positive community of kids their age! With our 6th- 12th grade club events, we help teens and preteens unplug for a few hours, build community with each other, and explore the world around them. This is done through engaging outdoor games and programs that promote team collaboration, leadership, and self confidence in young people. In addition to these
programs, participants will get to explore local parks and hiking trails, where we will also do outdoor education lessons about sustainability, survival, and environmental preservation.
Teen club meetings will take place at Pineville Lake Park (909 Lakeview Dr, Pineville, NC 28134). Meet at Shay Stage, the covered stage area where musical performances take place. Phones and other devices are voluntarily collected at the beginning of club events. Parents will be able to contact us at any time if they need to speak to their child while they are away from their devices. Attendees must bring their own snacks, water bottle, and sunscreen. Water will be provided.
