Get ready to carve, smash, and give back…all in one epic Fall event!
This Fall, we’re turning Halloween traditions upside down with a three-part pumpkin extravaganza to help teenagers keep the spirit of Halloween alive! Whether you are a carving and decorating pro, a lover of the environment, or just here for the mess and chaos, we have something for everyone.
Here’s how it will work:
1. Decorate & Carve: Unleash your spooky creativity! Design your own jack-o-lantern masterpiece with markers, paint, and carving tools. Go classic Halloween, hilariously goofy, or totally artistic; your pumpkin, your rules. All participants will have the chance to vote on their favorite pumpkin (that isn’t there’s) and we will crown one lucky winner to receive a special prize.
2. Smash & Compete: Ready to destroy something? Once we photograph all our beautifully decorated pumpkins, it’s time for the Pumpkin Smashing Contest. Winners will be chosen based on the biggest, or most creative, pumpkin smash.
3. Compost & Connect: For our final twist, instead of letting your pumpkins become waste, we are going to feed them back to the earth through composting. Learn how your Halloween fun can become nutrient-rich soil that grow’s next year’s crops. It’s satisfying, sustainable, and great information to know to care for the planet in the future.
